Weddings

Even still, despite the fact that this stunning Nashville couple was basically made to be photographed by none other than me, myself, and I, their two hour engagement photoshoot as a part of my signature wedding package was an absolute MUST.

Worry no longer, newlyweds-to-be. You can, in fact, have the Southern summer wedding of your dreams, thanks to Emerald Union and how much heart and soul they’ve put into their indoor space.

Okay, so, this was easily the most epic proposal that I’ve ever photographed. Like, when I say “ever,” I mean EVER.

Movie montage or Nike ad? You decide.

Regardless of which way you go on it, I think we can agree that one look at this engagement gallery brings one word, and one word only, to mind: vibes (on vibes on vibes).

I could go on and on about documentary style wedding photos (after all, they are my entire life’s work), but I’ll leave you with this: Let yourself live it. You have one go at this whole wedding day thing, and you don’t want your photos to reflect anything other the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Bride and groom come down the steps of elegant courthouse wedding.

A courthouse wedding is every bit an art form. And Amber and Daniel’s vintage-coded elopement in Springfield, Tennessee is about to show you how it’s done.  If you’ve been around these parts awhile, then you know that unmistakably candid and profoundly honest documentary photography is my bread and butter. I photograph weddings with this mantra in mind:
Recognize there would be no extraordinary without the ordinary, and we deserve to remember both.

Through a cinematic lens and always down to party energy, the photos I capture blend documentary and luxury, authenticity and romance. The ordinary becomes the extraordinary during a wedding day, how could I not dedicate my life to capturing that?

Weddings are mind boggling to me because everyday moments somehow turn into pure magic. Your favorite people coming together and sharing a meal, laughing at your moms embarrassing dance moves from the 80’s, ditching the high heels and slapping on the Crocs.
